Objectives of the Department

• To contribute to the new knowledge and understanding of health behavior through scholarly research on various aspects of health promotion and health education.

• To maintain the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and the professional preparation of future health promotion and health education specialists.

• To serve as a health promotion resource to the community, both nationally and internationally.

• To develop need- and evidence-based programs and projects in health promotion and education applicable in various settings for individuals and communities, with critical analysis of existing health service policies and programs.
