Objectives of the Department

• To produce new information through research, effectively communicate this knowledge, and offer students and professionals an excellent education.

• To convey a fundamental goal with an interdisciplinary network of academics, students, and staff: a world where risks from occupational and environmental hazards are minimized by means of recognition, appraisal, and control, for the benefit of work and community health and well-being.

• To provide outstanding instruction to meet managers' and stakeholders' needs concerning environmental health security systems.

• To develop innovative research initiatives on risks and hazards connected to living and working environments, their avoidance, utilizing all pertinent disciplines, and to offer knowledge to guide public policies on risks related to the environment and the workplace.
