Objectives of the Department

• To teach the students of MPH program according to the course curriculum to make them skilled personnel on Public Health Emergency.

• To conduct research activities contributing to the understanding of emergency public health issues and strategies that promote innovation in emergency preparedness and response.

• To arrange regular training sessions for health personnel on Public Health Emergency.

• To foster partnership and collaboration with local, national and international public health agencies, emergency responders and community organizations to enhance coordination and leverage resources for effective emergency management.

• To organize seminars, symposiums, workshops, campaigns and related programs to raise awareness about emergency preparedness and response.

• To provide necessary consultation to the government and NGOs on Public Health Emergency during national crisis.
