Objectives of the Department

• To perform academic activities listed under the MPH curriculum.

• To orient students and faculty regarding the current nutritional situation in Bangladesh.

• To analyze national strategies and policies regarding nutrition and help students develop skills in the formulation of policies and strategies.

• To participate in the activities of government and non-government organizations working in the field of nutrition.

• To conduct research in the field of nutrition in collaboration with government and non-government organizations.
